There are several ways you can get involved with Kansas City Public Schools right now! Check below for a series of surveys and opportunities to voice your opinions and make an impact on the future of the district.
Surveys:
2026-2027 Budget Priorities
This is your opportunity to share your priorities and learn more about the financial considerations involved in supporting KCPS programs and initiatives.
Click here to participate in the Balancing Act survey—an interactive tool that puts decision-making power in your hands and allows you to rank the programs that are most important to you. Survey results will be shared once all responses have been collected and reviewed. Thank you for taking the time to participate and make your voice heard!

Spring family & caregiver feedback
As we end the 2025-2026 school year, we’re inviting all families and caregivers to complete our Spring Partnership Check-In. This short form helps us understand your priorities, identify any support needs, and create more welcoming, inclusive opportunities for connection.
Whether you’ve attended every event or are just getting started, your voice matters. Your feedback will help us improve communication, plan meaningful gatherings, and build stronger partnerships between home and school.
🗓 Survey is open April 15th – May 29th
🔒 Responses are confidential: https://bit.ly/KCPSSpring26
Thank you for being a vital part of our KCPS community!

The DAC serves KCPS as an advisory capacity by supporting families, parent organizations, school district leadership, and the Board of Education through collaboration, information sharing, and advocacy. For additional information, please contact Qiana McGee at qmcgee@kcpublicschools.org.
